The blade is completely forged, folded, polished, crafted and assembled by hand from the most experienced craftsmen and smiths at the Imperial Forge. Our katana’s are produced using traditional Japanese methods, and are intended for use in all fields of Sword Arts. Forged at the Imperial Forge, blades measure 28 inches, and tsuka 11⅜  inches.  We offer a choice of two differnt steel types, depending on your preference. Our Wakizashi’s are produced using traditional Japanese methods. The Wakizashi (Japanese short sword) forged at the Imperial Forge, have a blade length of 21⅛ inches, and tsuka of 6½ inches.
